20 Inspiring Entrepreneurs Improving Health for All — Inc.

In 2017, Inc. recognized me among twenty entrepreneurs working to improve global health. The article highlighted my work founding Mass Innovation Labs in Kendall Square — then the largest shared research facility for biotech startups in the United States. I built the platform to remove operational barriers for scientists, giving teams immediate access to fully equipped labs, animal research capabilities, and managed services that handled everything from compliance to supply chain.

At the time, our goal was simple: make it possible for science to move faster by taking the friction out of building and operating research space. That mission later evolved into SmartLabs and the Universal Lab Framework — extending the same idea nationally.
